The title of his album “Catastrophes aux Doigts” could suggest that Metaparte triggers the fury and chaos of his semi-modular system almost serendipitously, as though he is submerged in a trance, similar to that of automatic writing.

However, it would be wrong to think that Metaparte relies merely on spontaneity in his practice of electronic music. When in fact his aesthetic, sound collages full explosions and ruptures, is a conscious sonic fire executed with masterful fingers.

This inspired synthesist throws his anti-romantic influences into his musical inferno by inviting us to a hyperactive and Dionysian stroll.
